So don’t worry folks, we are bringing you some great natural home remedies at the touch of your finger, the ones our grandma used to tell us and the ones we used to ignore all that time.
Just a pinch of this and pinch of that, and voila, you’ll be fine in no time.
1. HEADACHE

Headache is the most common yet prominent problem all of us are facing today. But why is this happening all the time ? It may be due to work stress, financial problems, family problems or anything. From rise in the petrol rates to finding an auto in the morning. Whatever the reasons maybe, this frequent headaches can be cured at home without depending on any drugs or medicines.

Take ¼ tsp of nutmeg in your palm and make a paste of it by adding water. Apply this paste on your forehead and keep it like that for half an hour. Then wash it off after that.
Take 2 tbsp of aloe-vera gel 3 times a day.
Try taking cumin-coriander tea. Add cumin and coriander seeds into boiling water and heat 2–3 minutes. Allow it to cool to room temperature and drink.
Take ½ tsp powdered sandalwood. Add some water and make a nice paste and then apply on your forehead. Keep it for half an hour and then wash off.
A must try is taking an eucalyptus steam. Add 10 drops of eucalyptus oil in boiled water and take steam, with your head covered.
Apply a warm paste made up of 1 tsp ginger powder and water, and apply it on your forehead.
2. INDIGESTION
Everyone of us have faced a case of indigestion at some point of our lives. It might have been after a heavy sunday lunch, or due to eating a lot of street foods, or maybe after having a lot to eat in a party or during any family visits. The reasons can be anything or everything. But this should not affect our regular actions and work and why should it , when we can solve this in the snap of a finger.

Add 1 tsp of fennel seeds (saunf) with a pinch of cinnamon in a cup of boiled water and leave it covered overnight. Consume this water in the morning.
Have ground cardamom powder mixed with ginger, cloves and coriander.
Soak 1 tsp of ajwain in a glass of buttermilk for 5–6 hours. Ground the ajwain in the same buttermilk and can be consumed for indigestion.
Boil 1 tsp of Cinnamon powder in half glass of water, cooled and then taken half an hour after meals.
Take a glass of fresh curry leaves’ boiled in water with lime juice.
Mix 1–2 tsp of Coriander leaves in a glass of buttermilk and drink.
Make a chutney combining dry coriander, green chillies, grated coconut, ginger and black grapes without any seeds and have with your meal to prevent indigestion.
Chew a fresh piece of ginger always after having meals.
Take ½ tsp fresh ginger juice, 1 tsp of fresh lime and and 1 tsp mint juice for curing indigestion due to heavy intake of non-vegetarian and fried fatty foods.
Have ¼ tsp of black pepper in buttermilk for indigestion and also for heaviness in the stomach.
Mix 1 tsp of tamarind pulp with black pepper, cloves, cardamom and then strain it and drink.
3. CONSTIPATION
The second most common bowel disorder we are facing in the long run is constipation. Constipation is the condition when one is having problem in the removal of their faeces. You’ll start feeling heaviness in your stomach, irregular stomach pains and acidity. There are some really simple steps with which you can get rid of constipation easily.

Bael fruit, which is often ignored, is a wonderful laxative. Drink bael sharbat to relieve your constipation. Consuming bael for 2–3 months regularly cleanses your stomach and throws out even old accumulated faecal matter from our body.
Boil 1 tbsp of fennel in 100ml of water for half an hour and drink at regular intervals.
Try chewing fennel seeds after having every meal to ensure prevention of constipation.
The best and ancient remedy is Triphala. Triphala is a combination of 3 herbs. Take ½ to 1 tsp of triphala and put it into a cup of hot water for 5–10 minutes. You can take this either at night or in the morning. The most preferable time is in between 4–5 AM.
Fruits such as, Banana, Apple, Papaya, Raisins (an hour after meals), Peaches (an hour after meals).
Try to eat more fiber such as wheat bran, oatmeal/oat bran.
In cases of serious constipation, take 1–2 tsp of castor oil with hot milk.
Take 1 tbsp of flax seeds with 1 glass hot milk at night.
4. FLATULENCE
Ever feel like there is a lot of gas in your stomach even though you haven’t had anything heavy or spicy. This condition is known as Flatulence where there is accumulation of unwanted gas inside our stomach. It is also followed by regurgitation and a sensationof burning in the stomach.

Make 1 tbsp of ginger root pulp and mix it with 1 tbsp lemon juice. Have it immediately after eating.
Roast cumin seeds, fennel seeds and ajwain seeds in equal proportion and prepare a mixture of it. Chew ½ -1 tsp of this mixture after every meal and gulp it down with ¾ cup of water.
Take ½–1 tsp of triphala in a cup of boiled water at night or in the morning.
5. COUGHparticles enter in your throat. But if persists, then it needs attention and care. The throat suffers a lot of pain while coughing occurs. It follows with a sensation of tickling in the throat, dryness and inflammation of the trachea

Cough, at first is a reflex reaction when foreign
Take 1 tsp of black pepper powder and boil it in 1 glass of water and drink.
Try gargling with saltwater to relieve from the throat pain and irritation.
Drink tea made from 1 inch ginger, a pinch of clove and cinnamon powder.
Boil 1 cup water and add 1 tsp honey in it and drink hot (diabetics avoid this remedy)
If still the cough persists, take ½ tsp of ground mustard powder and ½ tsp of ginger powder , 2–3 times a day.
